It works less well if you need to move on a fixed timeline, if you want a walkable downtown or any commercial convenience within the community itself, or if you are looking for newer construction or a wide range of homes to choose from. For those buyers, the neighboring parts of the North Allegheny district, including the Wexford area and Franklin Park, usually offer more inventory and more variety while keeping the same schools.
